Completion of the 110kV – 50MVAr capacitor bank energization at Nghi Son 220kV Substation marks an important milestone in optimizing operations and improving the efficiency of the regional power grid.

The commissioning of the capacitor bank contributes to maintaining transmission grid voltage in the Northern region within permissible limits, meeting the increasing power demand of critical loads. It also enhances the stability of power supply, reduces power and energy losses, and thereby improves the operational and business efficiency of Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
