Low-Voltage Reactive Power Compensation Cabinet

The Cooper CELB low-voltage harmonic filter utilizes filter capacitors connected in series with detuned/tuning reactors to form a tuned filter. The system can be switched via contactors or thyristor power semiconductors. It not only performs reactive power compensation to improve the power factor (PF) of the electrical system, but also effectively prevents resonance between the power grid and the capacitor banks, while absorbing and mitigating harmonic components within the system.
