On April 1, 2014, MPCo successfully won Bid Package No. 04: Procurement of Reclosers (Phase 1, 2014) under the project “Procurement of Power Grid Equipment – Phase 1, 2014” of EVN SPC.
The project includes 112 sets of Cooper Reclosers, supplied to 18 power companies under EVN SPC, with a total contract value exceeding VND 20 billion, funded by EVN SPC’s investment capital in 2014.

MPCo completed the delivery of all equipment in July 2014, ensuring full compliance with EVN SPC’s technical standards. In addition, MPCo organized training sessions and provided installation and operation guidance for 94 technical staff from power companies, technical departments, electromechanical workshops, as well as personnel from the Southern Power Projects Management Board (SPMB) and the Southern Power Service Company (SPSC) on August 12, 2014.

Following this success, in November 2014, EVN SPC continued to sign a contract with MPCo to expand the supply with an additional 118 Cooper Reclosers for Phase 1 of 2015. MPCo completed the delivery of all equipment in March 2015, ensuring compliance with the required schedule, quality, and technical standards.

The Cooper Reclosers have been put into operation, enhancing grid reliability, minimizing faults, and ensuring a stable power supply across the Southern region, serving both residential and industrial needs.
