On April 11, 2024, My Phuong Trading Co., Ltd., in cooperation with Eaton, organized a technical workshop introducing power system analysis software (CYME) at Northern Power Corporation (EVN NPC).

Eaton’s CYME software, developed and produced in Canada, has a long-standing history and has been applied in the market since 1986.
Calculation, simulation, analysis, and planning of high-voltage and medium-voltage power grids in off-line mode, including visual power network modeling, loss calculation, power flow and load distribution analysis, short-circuit calculation, overcurrent protection coordination, and capacitor sizing optimization as well as optimal placement of capacitor banks.
Optimal operating mode calculation, power quality assessment – harmonic analysis. In recent years, the power industry has increasingly focused on Distributed Energy Resources (DERM), and Eaton’s CYME software supports grid management and planning, power system calculation with DER integration (DERM), GIS database interface, and related applications for distributed energy resource-based networks.
