On October 08, 2025, My Phuong Trading Co., Ltd. (MPCo) – the official distributor of EATON in Vietnam – successfully organized a seminar introducing EATON’s NOVAs 24kV outdoor pole-mounted medium-voltage circuit breaker solution at VSIP Binh Duong Industrial Park.

The seminar was attended by the leadership and engineering team of MPCo, along with the management, engineers, and grid operation team of VSIP Joint Venture Co., Ltd. The event was not only an opportunity for technical exchange, but also a chance for VSIP engineers to directly experience one of the most advanced switching solutions available today.

During the seminar, My Phuong Company introduced and demonstrated the actual NOVAs 24kV circuit breaker, highlighting its outstanding features and advantages compared to traditional solutions, delivering practical benefits to customers, as follows:

  • Solid epoxy insulation design, vacuum interrupter chamber, type-tested and certified at KEMA (member of the STL international association) in accordance with IEC 62271-100 standards.
  • Short-circuit breaking capacity of 20kA/4s, mechanical endurance of 10,000 switching operations.
  • Integrated disconnector (DS) with mechanical interlocking for absolute operational safety.
  • SCADA/DMS connectivity via IEC 101/104 and GOOSE protocols, supporting selective protection as well as remote monitoring, control, and automation.
